BBR Partners Hosts San Francisco Client Event Focused on Investment Practices

San Francisco (October 11, 2012)

BBR Partners, a bicoastal multi-family office based in New York City and San Francisco, held an event for its West Coast clients, followed by a cocktail reception. BBR hosted Patrick Geddes, the Chief Investment Officer and a Partner of Aperio Group.

“We feel privileged to be able to partner with such a highly accomplished set of clients who enjoy coming together to share ideas. Today, we were pleased to be joined by Patrick, who shared his insights on behavioral finance and the benefits of passive investing in efficient markets, a topic especially relevant and interesting to our client community,” said Stephanie Gromek, Partner and Head of Portfolio and Wealth Advisory at BBR.

The manager presentation was followed by a discussion led by Brett Barth and Todd Whitenack, Partners and Heads of the Investment Management Team, on the current state of the global markets and the ways in which BBR optimizes client portfolios in the evolving market environment. The event concluded with a cocktail reception where clients and advisors connected, shared ideas and discussed the evening’s presentations.
